The house is situated on the Sandbanks Peninsula with direct access at the back of the garden onto the beach and to Poole Harbour at the front of the house. The sunsets over the Harbour are completely sublime and have to be seen to be believed. The fantastic firework displays on Poole Quay can be watched from the comfort of the dining room!
There are amazing views from every room in the house – and almost has the feeling of being in a boat. It is the ONLY house that is let for holidays on this stretch so it is unique.
The property also benefits from a huge garden that is approx 50 metres long with amazing views to Old Harry’s rocks and the Isle of Wight. There is also parking for 5 cars at the front of the house.
Everyone who has visited Sandbanks knows this house – it was the first modern house built on the peninsula when it was still a literal sandbank. It won the house of the year award in 1974 for its innovative architecture – being cantilevered and made of concrete and glass. It is definitely one of a kind!
The house is located next door to The Watersports Academy which is fantastic for watersports activities, paddle board, bicycle and boat hire.
We host a wide range of guests at the property. These include family/friendship group holidays and celebrations, Bournemouth graduation events and pre-marriage celebrations. We have also hosted business groups for team building activities and meetings.
